Dr. Christy Folsom is the Instructional Coach at King’s Academy in Jordan. She is from New York City and previously taught in the School of Education at Lehman College, City University of New York. Dr. Folsom created Teaching for Intellectual and Emotional Learning as part of her doctoral research. She focuses on helping teachers consciously plan lessons and project-based curriculum units that teach students self-management skills and support the development of social emotional characterisitics.
