The Digital Humanities: a signal from our integrated future

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We are living in a time of convergences: disciplines that once were separate are now coming together; our offline lives are increasingly blending with our online lives; the purposes of school (civic, personal, professional) often overlap; the “internet of things” seems to promise that everything from our refrigerator to our doorbells will become digitally enabled; and more. What does this mean for schools? How does the emergence of digital humanities signal a new opportunity for schools to lead?

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
Make more informed decisions about the role of technology in schools
Drive Innovation in the integration of math, computer science, and humanities
Think differently about curricular structure
