Changing the Culture of Reflection Using Video-Based Coaching

The data is clear: Traditional PD models aren't working. Recent research suggests that PD (and more specifically, instructional coaching) is most effective when it's proximate, frequent, and sustained. In this session, we'll examine how "blended" models of PD leverage technology and video to enable truly effective, job-embedded professional learning. And in addition to being more cost-effective, teachers actually like it.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Describe the benefits of a robust video based coaching approach in their organizations.
- Identify potential pitfalls and create a plan for how to effective communicate the use of video coaching
